Shredder Cleaner

Job Title

Shredder Cleaner – Afternoon shift, Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-11:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain shredding equipment, including conveyor systems, screens, magnets, and other components, to ensure optimal performance and prevent contamination.
• Remove unwanted materials such as non-metallic objects, dirt, and other contaminants from the shredder and its surrounding areas to prevent damage and maintain efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe work environment.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures and other safety practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shredder area, ensuring the removal of debris, proper waste disposal, and general housekeeping tasks.
