Role Description
Take on a critical role at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies as a Maintenance and Security Coordinator. Your focus on safety, building operations, and compliance will help create a welcoming environment for students and staff.
In this role, you will cover all aspects of facility maintenance, including responding to mechanical inquiries and promoting best health and safety practices. Being actively involved with the Occupational Health & Safety Committees and the Security Threat Assessment Team will amplify your impact at SIIT.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure functionality of building HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Assist with emergency inspections and maintain safety records
• Oversee activities of contractors for cleaning and maintenance
• Address equipment alarms and take corrective actions
• Participate in developing security protocols and emergency drills
