Role Description
Seeking an experienced journeyman welder for plant-based operations. This position involves working with various welding techniques and structural fabrication to ensure quality and safety in every project.
As a proficient welder, you'll work in a production environment and use your skills with 6 schedule 40 piping and heat trace pipe. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, conducting visual inspections of your work, and ensuring proper fit-up of components. A commitment to safety and effective communication is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform welding repairs on equipment and structures
• Utilize MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
• Interpret blueprints and execute precise welds
• Conduct inspections to meet industry standards
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Relevant industrial welding experience is an asset
• Valid Journeyman’s Welder certification required
