Social Worker II

Within Cancer Care Alberta (CCA), Supportive Care services are provided by a team of health care professionals dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of those affected by cancer in Alberta, by providing support from the time of cancer diagnosis, through treatment and beyond. The team of professionals that work within CCA are leaders in cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and palliative care, all on a foundation of world‑class research. We are seeking a temporary Social Worker (SW II) passionate about cancer care to join our team at the Central Alberta Cancer Centre. You will support patients from Red Deer as well as surrounding communities in Northern Alberta. As a SW II, you will play a vital role in empowering patients experiencing cancer to address the social determinants of health.
