Join a top manufacturing organization as a Sourcing Specialist in Scarborough, ON. This on-site role focuses on procurement, MRO sourcing, and supplier management.
This position is ideal for an experienced procurement professional with strong knowledge of sourcing practices and SAP systems. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely materials availability and cost-efficiency during peak demand periods. The organization offers an approximate 6-month contract with a real chance for extension or permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source MRO and direct materials with best practices
• Create and manage purchase orders through SAP
• Run MRP reports to reduce downtime
• Evaluate supplier quotes for cost and service
• Partner with maintenance teams for spare parts inventory
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics
• Minimum 5 years of sourcing experience in manufacturing
