Overview
The Spacecraft EGSE Engineer will be responsible for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) for advanced telecommunication satellites at both bus and spacecraft integration stages.
What you will be doing
- Review test plans and test system requirements, assess feasibility and propose efficient implementation.
- Equipment selection and technical oversight of key EGSE suppliers.
- Integration of EGSE from multiple suppliers into a coherent test set for platform and spacecraft level tests.
- Electrical System EGSE implementation, commissioning and maintenance.
- Design of Test harnesses, system protections and overall EGSE interconnects.
- Production of relevant EGSE documentation.
- Operationalize EGSE for high volume production.
