Position Overview

An experienced physiotherapist is needed to support the Children and Young People's Physiotherapy service at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline. The post is part of a Fife‑wide service, working across clinics, schools, children’s homes, and other settings in Fife. Fife’s community and transport links provide an attractive setting for career development within the NHS.

Responsibilities

• Provide paediatric physiotherapy for musculoskeletal, neurological and respiratory conditions, and support rehabilitation of children who have suffered major trauma.
• Work autonomously across a varied caseload in clinics, schools, and children’s homes.
• Travel throughout Fife during the working day to meet patients’ needs.
• Act as a mentor and supervisor for team members and support students in placement.
• Participate in leadership development, including supervision, mentorship, and clinical project work.
