Team & Role Overview
As a member of the Field Services Americas team, you will be responsible for helping our customer (CPKC) maintain their fleet of Wabtec locomotives by providing exceptional materials management and logistics support. You will be part of a team made up of Wabtec materials experts, all working to ensure the customer’s fleet is running at optimal levels.
Typical Day
- Pull material from the warehouse for the shop use and ensure it is issued to the correct locomotive with all necessary information: position, serial number, removal reason, and service sheet.
- Manage weekly stockouts, including obtaining updated ETAs for fully stocked‑out parts or parts low on stock.
