Specialty Equipment Mechanic

Position Overview

Purpose
The Specialty Equipment Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both gas and diesel specialty and small tool construction equipment to support field operations. This role ensures that all assigned equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for field use, minimizing downtime and supporting project schedules.

Focus & Scope

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair specialty construction equipment, both gas and diesel, including hydraulic and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and company policies.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment for internal and external customers.
• Safely operate a wide range of small tools and construction‑related equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records including repairs completed, parts ordered, and stock levels.
