Role Description
Elevate store security as a Store Loss Prevention Leader at SportChek, focusing on customer and employee safety. Develop a proactive loss prevention culture within the store environment.
Reporting to the Store General Manager, you will champion the Loss Prevention (LP) Program, assuring its execution across the store. Being visible during high-risk hours allows you to engage with customers and enhance awareness while coaching team members to recognize potential risks and responsibilities in loss prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute strategies to combat internal and external theft
• Maintain presence on the sales floor during peak times
• Secure high-value products per LP tagging standards
• Document incidents and liaise with the Regional LP Manager
• Train associates on acknowledgment techniques and LP areas
Requirements:
• 6+ months in retail experience is valuable
• 12+ months as a Loss Prevention Officer or In-store Security
