• Plan, direct, and implement all aspects of design and development of new medical device products or software systems.
• Develop, evaluate, implement, and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards related to materials, techniques, or company products.
• Investigate and evaluate existing technologies to guide the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes, or products.
• Direct development of new concepts from initial design through to market release.
• Manage feasibility studies of designs to determine capability of meeting intended functions.
• Monitor documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development.
