Sr Stamping Engineer (metal-mechanic specialist)

What you’ll do:

Coordinate and manage Lightspeed manufacturing engineering activities in production areas to support existing production lines, new product development and new production lines, product transfers, equipment specifications and maintenance, lean manufacturing and EQS deployment, MESH initiatives, and product and quality cost improvements.

Job Responsibilities

• Determine Lightspeed manufacturing methods and machine or line loading to produce parts, sub‑assemblies, and assemblies for new products or customer orders requiring extensive planning consistent with overall division objectives. Plan all tooling such as jigs, fixtures, special tools, and similar items.
• Evaluate existing Lightspeed machinery, fabrication of the new equipment, tooling including design, for safety, capacity, capability, effectiveness, etc., develop detailed technical specifications for new equipment and manage capital projects.
