Role Description
Job Description Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for providing Structural engineering support to the plant. Hours of Work: 10-hour days. Schedule: 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday). Location: Fort McMurray (with bus-in, bus-out from Fort Mc or fly-in, fly-out from Calgary/Edmonton). Specific Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Develop and implement a structural inspection program for a brown field facility. Structures to be assessed include pipe racks, conveyors, slurry towers, overhead cranes, hoppers, etc. Inspection program to be cost effective, data driven and optimized to mitigate risks associated with running plant conditions. Regularly communicate with members of the various Business Unit Teams to determine what engineering support they require. Understand the status of various projects which may affect structural components in the different plants. Health, Safety & Setting
