Role Description
SUMMER GROUNDS KEEPER
St. Volodymyr Villa, a seniors residence, has a temporary full‑time position available supported by funding from Canada Summer Jobs.
- Between the ages of 15 and 30 (inclusive) at the start of employment.
- Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or a person whose refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada according to relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.
- International students are not eligible.
- Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents.
Duties include:
- Spring clean‑up of grounds lawns, flower beds, and gardens.
- Planting flowers, grass, shrubs, watering, weeding, and overall maintenance.
- Cutting lawns, raking, weeding gardens, pruning shrubs and trees, and related tasks as required.
