Summer Ministry Intern

Role Description
Do you have a passion for reaching and working with children and youth in our community? Bethel is hiring two ministry interns to help plan and run our summer community events and programs for children and youth. These positions are 35 hours a week for a minimum of 10 consecutive weeks between June and August.
Working alongside the ministry staff team, the Summer Ministry Intern will plan, coordinate, and implement a variety of summer programs for children and youth ages 3-18, as well as plan and execute family focused community events throughout the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming and running a week-long Kids Camp in August
- Leading and facilitating a weekly youth drop-in ministry on Tuesdays
- Assist in planning and facilitating our annual Canada Day community celebration
