Role Description
Principal Responsibilities
- Leads and oversees a team responsible for purchasing and order fulfillment activities to support business demand, drive improved inventory turns, and ensure predictable and accurate supplier on‑time delivery.
- Directs and governs the order status management process, ensuring accurate shipping and delivery data within company systems.
- Provides leadership over post–Purchase Order (PO) placement activities, including backlog management, tracking, reporting, and cross‑functional communication, while partnering with suppliers to meet delivery commitments.
- Owns strategic supplier relationship management, setting expectations, holding suppliers accountable to performance standards, and driving continuous system and process improvements both internally and with suppliers.
