Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description The Advanced Supplier Quality (ASQ) engineer ensures supplier quality and performance for all commodities as needed. This role requires strong technical expertise, proactive self-management, and effective leadership skills to influence and guide suppliers and cross-functional teams. The ASQ engineer must align all activities with corporate objectives for quality, cost, and delivery, while fostering collaboration and accountability. Responsibilities and duties Actively participate in narrowing down potential new suppliers during the direct material sourcing process. Conduct on-site audits of supplier Quality Management Systems to verify compliance with ISO-9001 standards and corporate requirements. Prepare comprehensive audit reports, coordinate corrective actions, and validate implementation to ensure issues are resolved.
