Role Description
Drive with Sysco as a Class 1 Delivery Driver, ensuring timely product delivery and maintaining safety standards. This role involves physical activity and operates on a 4 AM to early afternoon schedule.
As a Class 1 Delivery Driver for Sysco, you will be responsible for delivering products within designated routes and timeframes. Your duties include unloading products, collecting payments, and performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to comply with DOT regulations. Strong customer relations and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver products within assigned route schedules
• Unload and transport products in various conditions
• Perform vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations
• Collect payment when required and maintain records
• Maintain sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver License
• 2 years’ experience in local food or beverage delivery
