Systems Manager (Infrastructure Management)(C/ITO/SM/06/26-AP2)

Major Duties

: (a) To plan and perform database design, capacity planning, version upgrades, patch management and configuration changes in accordance with established change management procedures; (b) To establish, implement and enforce standards and best practices for database administration and container platform management, with strong emphasis on security hardening and access control; and (c) To design, implement and periodically test high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for database and container platform environments. Requirements: (a) A recognised degree in IT or equivalent with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience; (b) Experience in project management is highly preferred; (c) Applicants with excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in any of the following will have an advantage: (i) On-premises OpenShift / OKD container platforms, including cluster management, operator deployment, network and storage provisioning, and secu...
