I. Introduction
The College of Informatics at Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU) comprises seven departments: Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, and Statistics, among others. It hosts a number of key research and teaching platforms, including the Engineering Research Center for Agricultural Intelligent Technology (Ministry of Education), the Key Laboratory of Smart Breeding Technology (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs), the Hubei Key Laboratory of Agricultural Bioinformatics, the Hubei Engineering Research Center for Agricultural Big Data, and the Hubei Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Information Technology.
