Role Description
Engineering technicians are responsible for directly supporting and improving manufacturing lines to meet production goals.Typical activities include operating, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment, including complex automation.Duties include working in different disciplines, such as electrical, mechanical and computer engineering. The engineering technician’s work pattern will mirror production shift schedules.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform first-response troubleshooting to correct equipment and process issues with objective to maximize line uptime.
- Apply experience and knowledge to optimize equipment for continuously improve maintainability, reliability, and availability of equipment.
- Perform installation, repair and upkeep services for a variety of equipment in the fields of mechanics and electronics.
