Técnico Ehs (Ciudad Juárez)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists with environmental, health & safety (EHS) tours, audits, & surveys throughout GE Meter to document compliance status
• Provides internal and external EHS sampling (monitoring) and analysis to provide data needed for internal or external reporting & compliance
• Conduct accident / near miss investigations and root cause analysis and may make resolution recommendations
• Perform periodic safety inspections such as fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, cranes and hoist
• Assist in the evaluation of equipment, task, process, workstations, office and manufacturing environment to identify EHS&S; or ergonomic issues to address through an action plan

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree/Bachelor’s Degree
• Preferably health/safety engineering experience
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the position
