Temporary Transportation Technologist

The City of Courtenay invites applications for a temporary full-time position of Transportation Technologist in the Transportation Division of the Operational Services Department. This is a temporary 4 month, full-time, union position subject to the terms and conditions in the collective agreement between the City and CUPE Local 556.

The current hourly wage rate is $40.33 based on a 35-hour work week (Schedule “A”). An additional 12.4% in paid in lieu.

Responsibilities

Transportation Technologist reviews and provides in-house technical expertise in the field of traffic & transportation engineering.
