Job Description

• The Data Acquisition Engineer - RTS will be responsible for setting up and conducting data acquisition using various data acquisition systems.
• This involves coordinating test specimen build, setting up data acquisition systems, data processing, and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Have a detailed understanding of the data acquisition systems and various transducers, including how they interact and CAN communication.
• Operate and conduct data acquisition at client proving grounds.
• Have a thorough understanding of damage severity concepts.
• Lead projects from start to finish with minimal guidance, demonstrating process and detail orientation.
• Coordinate and instruct bargaining unit mechanics in vehicle instrumentation, part strain gauging, and part changes.
• Collaborate with the RTS mechanic supervisor, union, management, maintenance, and facilities teams. <...
