Therapy Assistant

Your Opportunity:

Our program is seeking a casual Therapy Assistant to work under Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy supervision supporting a variety of inpatient units at the Chinook Regional Hospital, including orthopedics, neuro, geriatrics, medical, ICU, surgical, and subacute care. You will be part of a collaborative and innovative team that provides excellent patient- and family-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, compassionate, and able to work both independently and within an interdisciplinary team while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, effective time management, and professional initiative. This role involves lifting and transferring patients and equipment, with potential weekend and evening coverage as well as participation in student supervision.
