Merit Ontario is a construction association supporting small to large construction companies with workforce needs across Ontario. Our member, Go Power Group is an electrical company servicing Ottawa, ON, looking for a skilled 309A Electrical Apprentice to work in commercial locations.

Responsibilities

• Installation of emt, rigid steel, aluminum and pvc conduit systems, bending, terminating, installing on concrete, racking and other surfaces along with associated boxes, panelboards and switchgear for power, communications, security, fire alarm and other like systems.
• Installation of wires and cables inside of conduit systems as well as fastening cables to various surfaces.
• Installation of various types of power outlets and receptacles, lighting fixtures and lighting control equipment.
• Building of racking systems and mounting assemblies for electrical systems and equipment.
