Truck Mechanic

This Position is suited for someone with the ability to work independently, while enjoying the support of the parts department, in house tools, a large comfortable shop with some work diversity. The position will focus on Highway truck and trailer repairs and safeties but will include a bit of automotive work with some small various projects customers need completed (pto U joints, small welding jobs, hyd hose building asexamples)

Reporting to the Business Manager, the position will be responsible for shop tools, shop equipment maintenance and cleanliness, assisting with some various small projects, planning for booked jobs and keeping track of information needed for record and billing purposes.

Checking customer equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine extent of repair required. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems then test repair...
