UX112 BR: Service Design (Winter 2027)

Position Summary

: Service design is the activity of planning an organization’s resources and practices in order to better support customer experiences over time. Students in this class will be introduced to principles of good service design and how it relates to user experience design and user experience research. Students will work on a project to connect back of house processes to front of house experiences culminating in the creation of a service blueprint.

Qualifications – Required Academic Degree: Master’s Degree

PhD with emphasis in User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Interaction Design, Business or equivalent is preferred

Teaching experience at the college or university level or experience providing training in UX, Service Design or equivalent is required
