Role Description
Westcoast Family Centres is looking for a Supervised Access Worker in Vancouver, providing critical support services from Sunday to Thursday.
This full-time, 2-year temporary position involves working across multiple programs, supervising parent-child interactions and providing coaching. You will facilitate safe transportation and help create positive family dynamics while ensuring every session meets safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and supervise interactions in a secure setting
• Provide education and modeling during visits
• Ensure safe transport for at-risk children
• Set up engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Document and report safety and interactions accurately
Requirements:
• Diploma in a relevant field like social services
• Minimum one year of experience with children or youth
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with good record
• Current First Aid with CPR & AED Level C
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check needed
