Role Description

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Welding (MIG, TIG, Flux Arc,
  • Preparation for assigned welding tasks, including grinding
  • Hard surfacing
  • Cutting components with a torch, plasma or saw as necessary
  • Silver soldering
  • Use and maintain tools, material handling equipment and welding equipment
  • Fitting and measuring materials
  • Daily overhead crane usage after course completion
  • Perform other duties as assigned

    • Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience):

  • Journeyperson certification is required
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience preferred
  • Overhead Crane Course is an asset but will train in-house if necessary
  • Experience with basic tools required

    • Technical Requirements (Software or Program Knowledge Needed):

  • Knowledge of welding machines & associated equipment
