The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a 1 Day Shift Welder to join our tooling department team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada).

You will work with the tooling department, supporting production and collaborating with the tooling methods group. The team promotes cross‑collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as a Day Shift Welder will be to perform welding, fabrication, and repair operations on various production tools, jigs, and equipment, adhering to the quality and safety standards of the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-precision welding (TIG, MIG, LASER) on various metals (steel, aluminum, stainless steel) according to plans and technical specifications.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, diagrams and welding symbols.
• Prepare parts for welding (cleaning, grinding, fitting) and position assembly elements (jigs).
