Women's Basketball Head Coach

Position Summary

The Women’s Basketball Head Coach is responsible for preparing St. Lawrence College student‑athletes for successful competition within the Ontario Colleges Athletics Association (OCAA) and the Canadian Collegiate Athletics Association (CCAA). This position reports to the Manager of Athletics & Student Engagement and receives guidance from the Athletics & Student Engagement Coordinators and Engagement Content Creator. The Head Coach will work alongside regional coaches that assist in the implementation of program plans at each campus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement program plans (daily practice plans and annual plan) for technical, tactical, and physical preparation of the basketball team for success in OCAA & CCAA competition.
• Supervise the team’s part‑time coaching staff, ensuring coaches fulfill practice, competition, and recruitment plans.
