Become a full-time Yard Labourer at a busy metal recycling facility located 20km south of Whitehorse. Engage in hands-on tasks like sorting metals and assisting customers daily in all weather.
In this role, you will provide outstanding customer service while managing heavy lifting and sorting various metals. Strong physical stamina is essential, as you will work outdoors and operate equipment necessary for processing materials. Following safety guidelines, your contributions will enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist customers with unloading vehicles and direct traffic
• Sort and grade ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• Operate machinery for metal preparation and processing
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the yard
• Perform additional duties as assigned
