Role Description
Become a Youth Services Team Lead with the YOESS program in Surrey. Provide vital leadership and ensure the delivery of exceptional, youth-centered outreach services.
This full-time position (35 hours weekly) requires collaborating with the Manager of Youth Services to ensure service quality and financial oversight. Engage directly with youth while mentoring staff to maintain a supportive and culturally safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily program operations and reporting
• Ensure a 0.5 caseload with direct youth support
• Mentor and lead YOESS staff effectively
• Develop and review program components regularly
• Maintain partnerships with community agencies and MCFD
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in CYC, YCJ, or related equivalent
• 2 years of leadership experience preferred
• Strong youth engagement and mentoring skills
• Effective communication and time management abilities
• Valid BC driver's license needed
